How Saudi Arabia treats illegal aliens from Africa

01/12/2013

Ethiopians encounter new border security along the Saudi-Yemeni border.

We constantly hear about how bad illegal aliens have it in the USA. While the USA gives illegal aliens EBT, section 8 housing, free health care, and other benefits, the non-western world treats their illegal aliens with brutality. In fact, Mexico is notorious for brutalizing illegal aliens. If all the Mexican authorities do is steal your possessions and then bus you to the USA border, you are lucky. Women are routinely raped, and men brutally beaten by Mexican police.

Saudi Arabia only banned chattel slavery in 1956. Indentured servitude is still legal. Migrant workers from Africa and central Asia are treated like slaves. Illegal aliens are treated harshly both by the public and by the authorities. Saudi Arabia has a 1,000+ year history of using sub-Saharan Africans as slaves. Historically, Arabs primarily imported females to use as sex slaves. Some males were brought in to use as slave soldiers. Wealthy Arabs also used castrated male slaves to guard their female sex slaves.

Recently, Saudi Arabia offered a seven month amnesty for illegal aliens from Ethiopia to declare themselves. Many never bothered to fill out the paperwork. When the the deadline expired, Ethiopians rioted. The riots were followed by a severe crackdown by Saudi police, in which three Ethiopians were killed. Now the government of Ethiopia is airlifting Ethiopians back to Ethiopia. 50,000 have been transported, with another 30,000 are expected.

Saudi Arabia uses its army on the border to stop illegal aliens, and criminal gangs smuggling guns and drugs. In 2012, they began building a low cost border wall along the entire Saudi-Yemeni border.

From AFP…

Ethiopia has flown home over 50,000 citizens in Saudi Arabia after a crackdown against illegal immigrants in the oil-rich state, the foreign ministry said Wednesday.

“We projected the initial number to be 10,000 but it is increasing,” foreign ministry spokesman Dina Mufti told AFP, adding that the final total once the mass airlift ends is now expected to be around 80,000.

Ethiopia started repatriating citizens living illegally in Saudi Arabia after a seven-month amnesty period to formalize their status expired on November 4, sparking violent protests between Saudi police and Ethiopian migrants preparing to leave the country.

The Ethiopian government said three of its citizens were killed in clashes.

Dina said the government is spending $2.6 million (1.9 million euros) on the repatriation program to bring citizens home, the majority women.

Ethiopia has said relations with Saudi Arabia remain “sisterly”, with Dina saying the government’s main priority was to bring citizens home.

“We are focusing on the repatriation… we have not evaluated that one, we have not assessed that,” he said, referring to Ethio-Saudi ties.

Large numbers of Ethiopians — often women seeking domestic work — travel to the Middle East each year looking for jobs.

Around 200,000 women sought work abroad in 2012, according to Ethiopia’s ministry of labor and social affairs.

Israel is calm and self-assured.

Israeli citizens know very well that we are prepared for any possible scenario.

Israeli citizens must also know that our enemies have very good reasons not to test our strength – they know why.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Israel Aerospace Industries and the Spacecom Satellite Communications Ltd. for the successful launch of the Amos IV satellite.

There are very few countries in the world that can congratulate themselves on such an achievement.

We wish this were the case, but the evidence shows that Palestinian education does indeed glorify violence.

Primeiro Ministro de Israel não se conforma do Hamas matar deliberadamente crianças israelitas

15/11/2012
“I saw today a picture of a bleeding Israeli baby.
This picture says it all:
Hamas deliberately targets our children, and they deliberately place their rockets next to their children.
Despite this reality, and it’s a very difficult reality, Israel will continue to do everything in its power to avoid civilian casualties. ” BENJAMIN NETANYAHU
